Finalists announced for European RAD Awards 2003
Leading retail solution providers from EMEA are recognised for
their excellence and innovation
24 March 2003, London – Microsoft have announced the finalists
for the fourth Microsoft European Retail Application Developer
(RAD) Awards 2003, co-sponsored by EMC Corporation and Intel Corporation.
A judging panel of leading industry experts reviewed a record
number of entries from 19 countries throughout Europe, Middle
East & Africa (EMEA).
Gary Cooke, EMEA retail industry marketing manager, Microsoft,
says “The profile of the RAD Awards has grown each year
within the developer community, and this has been highlighted
not only by the number of entrants but also their wide geographic
spread and continued high quality.
“With the retail software industry robust and growing,
it is truly satisfying to see that the RAD Awards hold real value
within the sector.”
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner and ceremony on
9 April 2003, at the Hotel d’Evreux, Paris.
