Microsoft Recognizes Ducont
as a Certified Partner Award Finalist

Ducont - the leading wireless solutions provider in the Middle
East, today announced it has been recognized by Microsoft Corporation
as a finalist in the fifth annual Microsoft Certified Partner
Awards in the category -'Collaborative Solution of the Year' representing
Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Nearly 900 entries were
considered for awards in nine different categories.
Ducont was selected because of its innovative use of Microsoft's
latest technologies that offer clear benefits to customers. "It
was an honor for us to receive so many amazing business applications
of our products," said Rosa Garcia, General Manager of Partner
Sales and Marketing Group at Microsoft, "but Ducont clearly
stood out among the many high-quality entries we received."
"This award is in recognition of Ducont's strengths and capabilities
in developing and deploying world class wireless solutions that
has enabled customers like Dubai Police collaborate easily with
their field officers as well as with the general public through
handheld devices such as PDAs and mobile phones." said Ivan Fernandes,
MD & CEO of Ducont.
Award Finalists will be honored at Microsoft's Fusion 2002 partner
event in Los Angeles, CA July 12th -15th. The worldwide winner
in each of the nine award categories will be announced July 12th.
