Ducont's Quotes.companion is a multi-channel delivery system particularly targeting mobile devices, providing global stock market information covering leading markets such as USA, India and the Middle East. It also provides real-time currency and bullion updates from leading markets.

As a stock alerts system, Quotes.companion helps investment banks, brokerage houses, stock markets, financial portals and mobile operators to service their customers with the much needed share market information. Now, with Quotes.companion available as an ASP service, retail investors too can subscribe and avail of these services. The ASP service is hosted from our infrastructure and maintained by Ducont. Clients who wish to use this service will be set up a separate account and can access the service without any investment on hardware and software. The revenue model is that they will pay a nominal joining fee and a monthly maintenance fee.

System highlights and salient features:

• Stock Monitor
  The Stock Monitor will allow you to track stocks that are of interest to you. You can choose stocks from the search facility available and add to the tracking list. It provides information such as last sale price, change, bid, ask prices and the volume traded. Any number of stocks can be monitored without any limitation.

• Stock Alert
  With this facility, you can configure the service to send you stock alerts on share prices by SMS or e-mail. The price limits can be set with various parameters viz., percentage change or relative or absolute amount.

• Portfolio Tracker
  Portfolio Tracker helps in tracking your portfolio holdings with the latest price prevailing in the markets. You just need to enter your holding information and the system will take care of the rest. The current market value of your holding, performance of the same with the gain / loss calculation relating to your holdings spread across various markets can all be obtained from a single source.

• Market Information
  You can also view Market Indices, Top Active Stocks, Gainers and Losers in various markets.

• Stock Quotes
  A flexible and user-friendly search facility is provided to get a snapshot of the stock information, detailed company information and the stock graph of the price movements.

• Scheduled Alerts
  As a subscriber, you can also configure the service to send your stock prices via SMS at regular intervals daily. Choose from frequencies of 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes. You can even receive the daily Closing Prices of stocks from various world markets.

• Opening, Mid-day and Closing Price
  The market opening price, mid-day price and closing price of any of the stocks from various markets can be received on the mobile.
