Portfolio.companion offers a new paradigm in anywhere trading that puts the stock market at the fingertips of investors. Combining the proactive quality of Short Messaging Services (SMS) with the usability of the Internet and the accessibility of a mobile phone, Portfolio.companion delivers:

Portfolio.companion is not device-sensitive. The benefits of this service can be enjoyed by a vast number of users who have access to various devices like PCs, WAP phones, GSM phones and PDAs.

Through the web, users can set up triggers for stock alerts; view market indices, stock quotes, bullion prices, currency rates, fund NAVs; get stock alerts by e-mail (mail alerts); track portfolios and lots more.

With WAP phones, most of the services available through the web can be accessed interactively.

Stock alerts can also be received on all GSM phones as SMS messages. Users of GSM phones (including non-WAP phones) can also keep track of their favourite market and stock information through the SMS pull services. They can request information by sending an SMS message and receive the required information the same way.

PDAs can also be used to synchronise with live databases and manage user portfolios offline.

Portfolio.companion ensures your customers' privacy, confidentiality and security through WTLS (Wireless Transport Layer Security) and SSL (Secured Sockets Layer). The application presently supports English and Arabic. Support will eventually be extended to other languages such as French and Polish as well.
