Yes, the services will be available 24x7.
How can I configure my WAP-enabled
phone to access WAP services?
We provide the configuration settings of the WAP phone for select
models that support OTA (Over the Air). Just send an SMS request
and you will receive the response. Simply save this and start
using the phone to access the WAP services. On request, this can
be provided at a reasonable charge.
I do not have a WAP phone. Can I use
my conventional GSM phone?
Yes, information about stock prices, market indices, portfolio
and related details can be obtained even on conventional GSM phones.
SMS Pull services now make this possible.
How do we access the information
by SMS Pull using GSM phones?
You can send an SMS message for the information you need. To facilitate
this, you can have templates created and used. We have provided
the commands for using SMS Pull on our web site. Within a few
seconds of your sending the SMS, you will receive the information
requested. For instance: To request the price of Microsoft, the
template could be 'NASD MSFT'. Similarly, to get the New York
Stock Exchange Index, the template could be 'DJIA'. Users can
have similar templates for frequently required information, choose
one and send an SMS to the SMSC number provided. Within seconds,
the user will get the information requested.

The product is built to benefit investors in stocks, brokers,
portfolio managers, dealers, investment banks, stock exchanges

with your broker, bank or a stock exchange to utilise them. However,
we have plans to extend these services to retail customers as
